Hello Teltonika experts,

I'm using a RUT950 for remote monitoring of my solar panels. After doing a fw_upgrade via SMS utilities on the weekend, I can't get any LAN connection working, even with several reboots of the router.

As this is a remote location, I have no physical access to the router, but can work with SMS utilities only.

Any ideas, on how to fix the issue?

Thanks,
Thomas

Hello,

What firmware version did you have installed before update?

Does the device have internet access?

What is the output of the SMS command status

Does it have a public IP? Maybe it would be possible to enable remote access?

What is the output of command: uci show network?

Do you have the device added to RMS?

Best regards,

Hello Teltonika team,

any news or updates in this regards? As the router is used for remote monitoring, any help to solve the issue short-term is highly appreciated.

Device configuration seems correct.

There only seems to be an option missing in LAN configuration, which may not change anything.

Still, I would like you to try to send the following command to the router:

  • uci set network.lan.disabled=0

Other than that, could you provide more details on your LAN configuration: are the devices connected to the router through a LAN port, a switch or via WiFi?

Is the device offline in RMS due to depleted credits or it also happened after firmware update?

Hello Teltonika support,

I did set the parameter above, and had another reboot of the router. Still the devices connected via LAN are not able to connect to the internet. All devices are connected directly to the RUT950, so not switch in between, or WiFi connection used.

The RMS was already offline before the firmware update, so I assume it's because of depleted credits: How can I get more credits?

Thanks.

Setting status IP routes in WebUI and "restarting DHCP" with LAN set-up wizard solved the issue.

Hello,

before the update to the latest firmware RUT9_R_00.07.03, the previous version RUT9_R_00.07.02.7 was installed.
As of the status information, the Router has internet LTE access.

Output of SMS status:
Router name - RUT950; WAN IP - 10.85.15.63; Data Connection state - Connected; Connection type - LTE; Signal Strength - -58; New FW available - No;

Current there is no public IP configured and remote access is disabled. This configuration worked without issues before the fm_upgrade

Output of uci show network:

network.globals=globals
network.globals.ula_prefix=fd2b:5b70:9d07::/48

Device was added to RMS during initial setup, but is currently showing "Offlilne" in Teltonika RMS app on iPhone.

Any help would be highly appreciated, as the router is located ~ 2 1/2 hours driving, and therefore not easy to configure onsite.

Kind regards,

Thomas
