Hello,

after updating from the firmware version RUT9_R_00.07.02.7 to the version RUT9_R_00.07.03 it is in the menu Status | Overview no longer possible to see which interface is active. In the previous version there was the addition "(MAIN)" after the interface designation. This addition has been omitted. Is this an error or is the device working as designed?

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

The feature does indeed seem to be missing.

It has been forwarded to the development team.

At the moment, you can check Network -> Interfaces section, where Main WAN is the highest online interface in the list.

It can also be derived from the routing table from Status -> Routes -> General routes section as a route with lowest metric.

SSH command:

  • ip route get 8.8.8.8

will also provide you main WAN interface name.

Best regards,

Hello,

thanks for your answer providing the three choices. Because I'm not a specialist I preferred the first solution, using menu Network -> Interfaces. Because I'm using the router in my camper van I very much would prefer having this information quickly and eye-catching within the menu Status -> Overview. In addition it would be perfect to get this information via Teltonika's app RutOS.

Yet, you already suggested using a SSH command on CLI in one of our other conversations. Now I got interested in using this.

I'm using Firefox and run into the problem with the certificate, which in consequence lead to the RUT955 error message "To access CLI you need to add certificate acception to your browser!". Can you help to go round this issue?

Thanks a lot and BR Guenther

I have replicated the error message, when accessing the router via HTTPS protocol: https://192.168.1.1.

Through, there is no issue, when using HTTP protocol: http://192.168.1.1. That is what I would suggest to try.

Seems that something related to Firefox support for HTTPS CLI access is missing.

Other than that, I you could try another browser.
