Since internal modem used within the router is manufactured by a different vendor, it has its own hardware and operating system.
Modem firmware update has a separate procedure, due to most of Teltonika devices not having enough space to store firmware images, and they need to be downloaded from remote servers.
Usually, unless you have unstable mobile internet connection, and other suggested measures do not help to solve your issue, modem update is not recommended.
