Hi,

I want to manually set the LTE band to 7 and 20. My iPhone is using band 20 and I get a very good bandwidth down/up. My router get not even the half of that.

I found some articles in the forum and I tried to follow them.

I have a RUT250 with FW <RUT2XX_R_00.01.06.1>

I set <Service mode> to 4G (LTE only) under <Mobile Configurtion>

I set <Frequency Bands> to LTE B7 and LTE B20 under <Network Frequency Bands>

The router always connects with band 3, which should not even available for my provider in this country (Italy, Wind.IT).

Tried <Force LTE network> also. No impact…

Even tried manually:

ifdown ppp

gsmctl -A 'AT+QCFG="band",0,80000,0,1'

and I receive always “+CME ERROR: 3”

I replaced 80000 by 800000 or by 0, or by 40. Always same error

Any idea?

Thanks!

Hi,

Meanwhile I tried to set all modes auf automatic but it does not solve my issue. Finally I did a factory reset and now it connects to my preferred LTE band 20.

Strange is that I didn't change anything between the time when it worked and when it stopped working.... I am a bit afraid that it will happen again.

Cheers
