Hey!

I have a question because I can't find an answer.

How many bands does the RUTX50 aggregate at the same time?

Does the RUTX50 simultaneously aggregate the three bands LTE:   B1 + B3 + B20 ?

I know there is a Quectel RG501Q-EU in the RUTX50.

Where can this information be found?

Thank you!

Hello,

How many bands does the RUTX50 aggregate at the same time?

Up to 5 bands in 4x4 MIMO configuration.

Does the RUTX50 simultaneously aggregate the three bands LTE:   B1 + B3 + B20 ?

Yes, the modem is capable of such combination.

Where can this information be found?

Supported bands can be found in Qectel documentation, for example, here, or this page under Ordering tab. Carrier aggregation data, apparently does not seem to be available publicly.

Best regards,

Thank you for the quick reply.

I am using a BTS base station in rural areas. The station broadcasts in three bands: B1, B20 and B3.

I'm currently using RUTX12 (I'm using two SIM cards), which only aggregates two combinations: B1 + B20 or B3 + B20. I would like to increase my internet speed, hence my interest in RUTX50.

Aggregation of two bands is a limit by design of LTE Cat 6 modems, which are used in RUTX12.

As provided here, RUTX14 is also able to aggregate your desired bands, however, it does not have support for 5G.
