Hi

I have set the mobile settings to manual and added two LTE bands, VoLTE=on. At first it shows on the mobile information page as carrier aggregation as multi, but after around 5 seconds goes back to carrier aggregation showing as single, showing only one LTE band , it does not seem to hold the settings.

I am on Firmware RUTX_R_00.07.03.1 (RUTx09)

Is any one else having this issue or have managed to solve this problem?

Thank you

Thank you for contacting Teltonika Networks Crowd support community.

If the SIM card settings are not being held when you set them manually on your Rutx09 router, it is possible that there is an issue with the router's firmware or hardware.

Please check the following.

Check that the SIM card is seated properly in the SIM card slot. Make sure that it is fully inserted and that the contacts are facing down.

Check the SIM card for damage. If the SIM card is damaged or has become bent or distorted, it may not work properly.

Check the router's firmware version and make sure it is up to date. If the router's firmware is out of date, it may not be compatible with the SIM card.

Reset the router to its default settings and try setting the SIM card settings again.

Kind regards,

Shadrack.

Hello,

It might be that aggregation happens by combining a couple of channels within the same band, thus it might be represented as single in the WebUI.

You can verify this by logging to the router via SSH and querying Carrier aggregation details with the command:

  • gsmctl -A 'AT+QCAINFO'

Also, what signal metrics (RSSI, RSRP, SINR) are shown, when both bands are displayed as aggregated? It might be that one of the bands has poor quality, thus the modem decides to drop it.

Best regards,
