Hello,

Thank you for contacting Teltonika Networks crowd support community.

Please note that when you reset the device by pressing the reset button, it goes to its default settings of the current installed firmware.

If the device has a technical issue like not able to access the WebUI you can try our device recovery options highlighted on the following link https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Device_Recovery_Options

If you need to update the device firmware check the following link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWhp_njlXdY

I will also be interested to know the reason behind power reset or expected results.

Kind regards,

Shadrack.

I have a lot of RUT955 Routers and is it not practicable to update every one vie the WebUI.
The Router needs a lot of time to boot, until that a have to connect every Router to a PC and run through the setup for an update.
I cannot do that for all of the router in my storage.

Hello,

We have the Teltonika Remote Management System (RMS) which will enable you update the firmware of multiple devices by just a click of a button. Please check the following link for more details on Teltonika RMS https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RMS

Here is also a link to create the RMS account.https://rms.teltonika-networks.com/

Hello,

Not sure if this is exactly what you want, but if you have firmware file in the USB flash drive, you can initiate the firmware upgrade via CLI/SSH with the following example command:

  • sysupgrade /mnt/sda1/RUT9_R_00.07.03.1_WEBUI.bin

This command can be included in /etc/rc.local file to be executed automatically after the router boots up.

You can list exact sda mount point name with the command:

  • df -h

Best regards,
