Cell ID in previous firmware's (up to the latest update) was shown as a string of 9 digits (148730637)- my location and connection has not changed, now the Cell ID is shown as 8DD730D.

Using www.cellmapper.net i was able to identify my connected tower and relevant information using ID148730637.

Any reason for the change ? Maybe Teltonika software techs could revert the change ?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Since the 7.3 firmware version, the cell ID is displayed in hexadecimal form. To see your cell ID in decimal form, you can use one of the online hexadecimal to decimal converters. For example, rapidtales here.

The development team is already informed that some users do not like this, and they will consider switching back to using decimal form in the future.

Kind Regards,

Andzej
