Hello,

I want to know how to configure the rut240 with a SIM card (fixed ip) to communicate between a web server and a payment terminal device.

Namely:

- Wifi via SIM card (simbase) works.
- The communication protocol is telnet (tcp - port 4100-4105)
- The communication between my devices works only in one direction.
- My web server does not receive the answers
- It works with a local SIM card and a more standard Huawei hotspot router

I try to reproduce the same configuration with the Teltonika RUT240 router, recommended by Simbase (SIM Card with fixed ipv4)

In addition you find in attachment the element named "Virtual Server" on a Huawei router, what is this configuration on the RUT240?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out!

As I understand, Web Server is just port forwarding for multiple ports.

To set this up on a Teltonika device, navigate to Network → Firewall → Port Forwards. Create a new rule with the external port specified as 4100-4105 and the internal IP address of your server. The internal port should be the same as the external.

When the advanced configuration window opens up, change the protocol to TCP and press Save & Apply. The router might need to be rebooted for the rules to apply.

Let me know if this helped.
