is there a way that we can include GPS position data ( long / lat)    in modbus http channel ?

Hi,

I assume you would like to request GPS information from the TRB245 and send it via the Data To Server functionality using HTTP. I also assume GPS is enabled and your device obtains a fixed location.

TRB245 needs to be configured as Modbus TCP slave.

TRB245 Modbus TCP master settings need to be configured to send requests to the device itself (127.0.0.1 Localhost address).

To read GPS latitude and longitude you will need to read holding registers 144 and 146 (Read 2 registers) with 32 bit float representation. This and other Modbus information can be found on the Modbus wiki page here.
