Some important connection-details are set to "N/A" if our RUTX50 switch to 5G mode (Cell ID, Signal strength, RSRP, RSRQ and SINR). In 3G or 4G mode all fields are displaying values - in 5G not. Is this a normal behavior or a software-issue? How can we get information about "how good" is the 5G connection if all these informations are missing?

Hello,

The screenshot indicates that you have configured your device to operate in 5G only mode.

When 5G only is configured, the device expects to operate in stand alone 5G networks, meaning that the network has its own independent infrastructure.

At the moment stand alone service may not be implemented by your provider, thus, in your case, you may need to switch Service mode option to Auto or 4G+5G in order to be able to use 5G in non-standalone mode, which utilizes 4G as its core network.

Best regards,

Hello,

The Service mode is already set to "Auto" - one of the RUTX50 is sometimes switching back to 4G (then signal-strength and others are shown with values) because of to weak signal i think.

Can you confirm that the connection to 5G itself works?

Which firmware your device has currently installed?

If you have not done it already, could you update to the latest 7.03.3 and check if the issue persists?

Otherwise, I would like you to attach a troubleshoot file to your question. Please, replicate the issue by waiting till the device connects to 5G, then access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there. The logs in the file might provide more insight into the issue.

Attached files are private and visible only to Teltonika Moderators.

Troubleshooot-File is now attached.

Thank you.

I will forward this to the developers to check.

EDIT: There seems to be issues in current firmware versions with 5G connection details representation. This is set to be resolved with 7.4 firmware release.
