Hi everyone,

We have a bunch of RUT950s that recently updated their firmware to RUT9_R_00.07.03.3

This happened on 31 January.

Since then, we've had clients call on through to report that they can connect to the device, but there is no internet connection. The only workaround is to reboot the device. This action needs to be completed daily.

Is anyone else having this issue, and have you been able to fix it, so there is no daily reboot?

Any advice that would be helpful would be appreciated.

A new FW has been released 7.03.4. Maybe this one helps.

Thank you for the reply; any idea where I can get it as it does not appear in the update on the device, and the landing page is currently offline for firmware downloads

Hello,

What type of WAN connectivity your clients use?

If it is mobile connection, it would be possible to configure automatic modem reboot, without having to reset the whole device. This can be done in router's WebUI, Services -> Auto reboot -> Ping/Wget reboot page by enabling default or creating a new instance and setting Action if no echo is received option to Modem reboot.

Was the update performed with Keep settings enabled?

Has any one of them tried device reset to factory default settings?

Would it be possible for you to gather a couple of troubleshoot files from disconnected devices with the issue present to check the logs for possible issues?

To generate the file, make sure the issue is present first, then access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there. The logs in the file might provide more insight into the issue.

Best regards,
