I need to Factory reset a RUT950 which is not connecting to RMS, as it appears to have lost its Serial Number. Posts regarding this issue say the only fix is a factory reset. The router is still working i can connect to a PC on site and access the WebUI and other functions on the site such as CCTV are still working, so i can't break the connection without a plan in place to fix.

If I factory reset will the RUT950 re-connect to the RMS so i can restore a backup, or at least re-enter the configs? Or do i need to go to the remote site with a laptop & reconfigure.

Hi,

It seems that one of the internal files got corrupted. We will need to arrange a remote session to resolve this issue. Please, send me the serial number of your device via private message.
