I have a RUT955 Legacy Router RUT955H7V*** with FW version RUT9XX_R_00.06.09.2 but on the FW update page appears that the latest FW version is FW version: RUT9_R_00.07.03.4

I have read on the wiki page: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Firmware_Downloads this note:

  • FW version RUT9_R_00.07.00 and above will not be supported on legacy-design (RUT955 *7V***) devices.
So why does the FW version does appear if the device doesn't support it. Or it does support it?

Hi,

The information provided on the Wiki page is accurate. You won't be able to update the firmware of your device beyond the legacy firmware version. Just because a higher version is available doesn't mean that your device supports it. If you attempt to update to a version that isn't supported, you'll receive an error message and won't be able to update the firmware.

Kind Regards,

Andzej
