Hello, first I apologize for the translation, I am using an automatic translator.

I have an RTU240 and in my country, the telephone company that I hired implements the B66 band, but the router does not have it.

Will this be resolved by updating the firmware?

or what is the solution?

thank you

Hello,

Upon checking, our routers support B66 band in North America. Seeing that you are using our router in Chile, supported bands are the following:

  • 4G (LTE-FDD): B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B7, B8, B28
  • 4G (LTE-TDD): B40
  • 3G: B1, B2, B5, B8
  • 2G: B2, B3, B5, B8

Updating the firmware could not resolve this because supported LTE Bands are connected to the type of modem used, which is a hardware feature. To confirm, can your share the product code of the device? Go to WebUI -> Status -> System -> Under Device, you can see the product code. Also, Can you ask the telephone operator what other bands they support to check compatibility?

For more information about supported bands, click HERE then click Ordering

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Janmiguel
