Hi

I have a system whereby RUT955 will read alarm status from process controller by serial RS485, and send SMS to alert system owners.

However i discovered that the syntax %ts is unable to display the timestamp in the SMS.

But the timestamp can be shown correctly in the Event reporting SMS

Hi,

Unfortunately, Modbus SMS alarms cannot utilize any arguments within the SMS text body. However, you're free to enter any text you wish. If you need to send specific information in your SMS messages, you could try using 'events reporting' or I/O Juggler functionalities.

You can find more information about Modbus alarms here.

Kind Regards,

Andzej
