Hi,

I just purchased RUTX50 and problem is that 5G cell is not found/connected and in general low throughput.

Within 500m there are two operator's cell on opposite directions. Cells have LTE bands 1, 3 and 20, and 5G band 28. I  have seen this 5G cell on Network - Mobile page couple times briefly (few seconds), otherwise only those LTE bands are used. Also SINR of LTE band 20 is very bad. Built-in and speedtest.net Speed Test gives usually only 160Mbit/s DL (few times above 200Mbit/s) and 80Mbit/s UL. I have 600Mbit/s operator subscription. In my opinion this 160Mbit/s is low even to 3CC LTE CA.

Both LTE band 20 and 5G band 28 are low frequency bands that supposed have less fading (better quality on indoors) than higher frequency bands. I am suspecting some kind issues on low frequencies. I tried also better external antenna, but not improvement.

I have similar problems in Australia via telstra.

Within excellent signal quality the signal to noise is terrible especially on the lower bands such as b28 LTE.

My installation is on a roaming object (ship) and its the same problem on all the b28 towers.

For bow I've just disabled b28 but obviously this isn't a permanent solution.

This seems to be a known problem, n28 is the only channel in NL used for 5G.It is not related to signal strength.

My workaround was to just use 4G, but there I encounter severe thruputloss. Teltonika will hopefully find a solution.

I am located at Finland. Nearby cells are using only this N28 band. And those LTE 1, 3 and 20 bands.

These 5G bands are listed on data sheet:5G NR NSA: n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38, n40, n41, n77, n78
