Hi I am trying to send Modbus RTU data to Azure.

I was able to configure and see modbus data via modbus serial master.

If I use the cloud solutions section then azure iot hub and select GSM values they push through to Azure:

But when I disable the above and go to the "data to server" section and try and enable Modbus data to azure Mqtt I am getting nothing relecting in Azure.

Does the TRB145 allow Modbus serial data to the azure server and is the above the right way to do it?

Hello,

I would like to review your configuration. Please attach a troubleshoot file to your question. First, replicate the issue, then access router's WebUI, go to System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot section and download troubleshoot file from there. The logs in the file might provide more insight into the issue.

Best regards,

Hello,

Thank you so much for the fast response. I did follow this tutorial as a reference

I have attached the troubleshooting file as requested.

Hello,

I managed to get it right, what was wrong was the format of the JASON. This was silly as I used the tutorial's example which had a typo with an extra } and fixing that the data is streaming through. Is it possible to write back a modbus value?
