Hello, could anyone explain me the difference between port based VLANS and Interface based VLANS ?

I couldn't find a clear explanation in the documentation.

Hi,

  • Port based VLANs allows the user to assigned a VLAN to a specific port while
  • Interface based VLANs is used if you want to double tag ethernet frames according to protocols 802.1AD and 802.1Q.
