Hi,

By default, any device connected to any LAN port of our devices will get internet access if the is one available, I am not really understanding the issue here if it's otherwise

The router shares the internet with the wifi interface, but not to the wired lan ports , i need to give access to the wired network ports. this is using the default config.

Not really sure what went wrong here, probably best to check if:

  • The router is indeed in default settings
  • Are any of the end devices connected are with STATIC ips that would not be correct for connection to the router?

After factory reset , when i go into network -> interfaces -> lan and turn on dhcp. click apply but the unit seems to not enable dhcp on this interface?

only one client connected to wired lan , with dhcp enabled it will not obtain an ip from the router.

if i turn on bridge , the whole unit seems to loose the ability to do dhcp.

Before proceeding with the following troubleshooting tips, you should powercycle the router first.  Unplug the power adapter from your router for 10 seconds then plug it back in.  This may resolve the issues currently encountered with your Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router. Candy Crush
