Hello

Using an rutx50 on a ship, router keeps connecting to 4G LTE tower due to signal strength.

But often there are 5G NSA  towers with multiple CA bands (both 5G and 4G) offering alot higher through put nearby, but because the signal strength is slightly lower router connects to a small cell LTE tower.

Is there any plans to have an option for "5G preferred (NSA or SA) connection so that the modem can be steered to this connection as priority?

I know on the older teltonikia routers you have" 4G preferred option" but cannot see this option for 5G on the RUTX50? Mobile configuration.

Hello,

The development team intends to add something similar in the future. The exact form of the feature is uncertain at this time, but it should offer more flexibility in terms of network-type options. Unfortunately, there's no information available regarding when this will be implemented.

Kind Regards,

Andzej
