A mild annoyance but not too important!

On the GPS Map page it displays a map, location (I'm assuming Digital lat long opposed to traditional lat long which is different, no of satellites it's getting data from and lastly accuracy!

Would it be possible to very simply add a little additional info on this page such as which lat long system is being used and how accurate the location is meaning that ......... an accuracy of 0.5 means what exactly, inches, feet, yards, miles or millimetres, centimetres, meters or kilometres.

On a day with bad weather in a built-up area accuracy could be 0.5kms or even worse but on a good day in open countryside accuracy could be to 0.5mtrs, a substantial difference.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out!

The GPS map page is using only the GPS constellation to determine the location of the device, thus the constellation is not specified on this page. The number of satellites, accuracy, and latitude with longitude only apply to GPS satellites.

The 0.5 on this page refers to meters, however, this figure should not be trusted 100%, as there are a lot of variables in determining the accuracy of the location.

If you'd like to get the most from your location data, I would recommend using third-party tools like Traccar for location tracking.

Hope this helps!
