I understand that this is not ideal, but could you downgrade to v7.2.7 via RMS and check if the USB is working?
If it is, please try upgrading to v7.4.2, and if it doesn't work again, try factory resetting the device to check if that changes anything.
Perhaps you also have another USB cable to test?
If Windows detects the USB device, you could also try setting a static IP in 192.168.2.xxx range to check if the issue could be with the DHCP server.
