Hi, I installed a TRB140 and want to use it with two network-interfaces:

The USB-Port should stay as LAN and should be used from a FritzBox als LTE-failover with a dchp-Network.

The LAN-Port I want to use in the FritzBox LAN to access the LAN without the FritzBox.

I do these steps:

Go to Interfaces and remove eth0 from the LAN-interface.

Create a LAN2 Interface

And then I want to add the physical eth0 to these LAN2 - but there is only rndis0 available (the usd).

While trying I recognize to enter eth0 and it's working fine - but should the UI not show the eth0 to select?

Hello,

Thank you for bringing this up.

It seems to be a firmware related issue.

I have tested this on TRB1_R_00.07.03.4, where interfaces were listed correctly. The latest TRB1_R_00.07.04.3 does lose eth0 interface once you remove it, though it still remains defined properly in configuration files, thus operates correctly, when entered as a custom value.

I will report it to the developers.

Best regards,
