Hi

Sorry for basic question, ive read and searched but its all about GPS and different protocols.

I have a new RTx11 (upgraded from my old 950, and of course it has GPS. I have a 5in1 antenna on motorhome roof, so GPS is good and shows perfectly in the "gps map" in router config.

But really basic question, how can I use this as a tracker somehow? (note, I have a thatcham tracker, so this more for logging my trips etc than security). What service / protocol should I look into for setting up some kind of van tracking?

Point me in right direction, and I can research further.

Thanks

Hello,

For regular trip logging, if you have a "server" available (any old PC would suffice), Traccar might be a good option, as it's compatible with Teltonika products, and is intended for fleet management.

More information can be found here.

Other than that, I'm not sure if there would be any other benefits of GNSS, but if any other forum members have any suggestions, go ahead!

Best regards,

Thankyou, I found a solution after much searching. Using GPS-Trace from Gurtram.
