Hi, in my RUT995 i have 2 wan connections wired and mobile.

My wired connection can reach only an internet network(93.x.x.x/28) and the mobile can reach anything (including 93.x.x.x/28)

I would like to route the 93.x.x.x/28 network to wired if the link is up (failover mobile) and all other traffic to mobile connection.

I mean:

93.x.x.x/28 through wired if available or backup on mobile

0.0.0.0/0 always through mobile

Is it possible to make such configuration?

Thank you

Hi,

Seems like load balancing could solve your issue.

Set ratio for mobile and wired to "1".

Then create rules that:

93.x.x.x/28 goes via wired wan

93.x.x.x/28 goes via wired mobile

 0.0.0.0/ goes via mobile.

(priority from top to down)

Thank you for your reply.

I have one question: in order to make load balancing works, do i have to select load balancing in the wan page or it works even if i have backup wan selected?

I cannot make this works.

My wan configuration is:

My load balancing:

If I try to make the wired connection to fail, based on the nextconfiguration, i can still reach the server via the wired connection...

What am I missing?

Thanks

Hi,

For Wired WAN please use DHCP mode (not static).

Hi,

I can't use DHCP because there is no DHCP server in that WAN...

Thank you

Unfortunately then we do not have what to offer for such case.
