Hi,

how do you mount an ext4-formatted SDCard on RUT955?

mount -t ext4 /dev/mmcblk0p1 /mnt/something (as shown on : https://wiki.teltonika.lt/view/RUT955_USB_Tools#Mounting )

comes up with:

NTFS signature is missing.
Failed to mount '/dev/mmcblk0p1': Invalid argument
The device '/dev/mmcblk0p1' doesn't seem to have a valid NTFS.
Maybe the wrong device is used? Or the whole disk instead of a
partition (e.g. /dev/sda, not /dev/sda1)? Or the other way around?
mount: mounting /dev/mmcblk0p1 on /mnt failed: Invalid argument

in fact any type of device that i want to mount comes up with that error .. even ntfs sdcards

your help is appreciated

Hi,

Have you checked via router WebUI? Does it find your attached device?

actually, after a reboot ext4 is mounted automatically

manual mount still seems to stay a mystery.

thx

If after restart it detect it correctly, then ok.
