Hello.

I can't seem to get my webcam, connected to RUT950 work on a stable basis.

Camera is using wired connection on lan port.

Event log has regular entries like pasted below.

Does that mean there's something wrong with port, cable or device?

Hi,

We are getting the same messages in the log and are having stability issues, is this a known issue?

Thanks.

I see LAN unplugged and plugged in many times, however it is constantly plugged in. I deleted sensitive data :-)

Hi,

I'm currently having same problems with couple rut950 with my clients and also rut240.

Yesterday i changed back to RUT2XX_R_00.01.10 in my rut240 and that solved the problem.

I think rut950 could be fixed same way. Look for older firmwares. Gonna try that next week with my clients.

I'll report back when done successfully.

Regards to Teltonika that would be great if you fixed this for future firmwares.

I'm also getting this with RUT9XX_R_00.06.06.1 on my RUT950. The thing is that I don't have anything connected to the port. I'm currently unable to test if the port would actually disconnect all the time if it'd be attached to a physical cable and another device, but this log spam is not nice either.

Hi,

You could try to use another port of router LAN. If issue persist, then check LAN cable and your camera.

Hi Pablo,

thank you for your feedback. Can you please check the time interval between two disconnect events?

As you can see from my log, the time interval varies, 4hrs, 2hrs, 1hr, but each time is a multiple of 60 minutes... Strange...

Hey guys - did you get this fixed?  Seeing exactly this on a RUT950 at the moment and its upsetting a SIP trunk no-end :(

My RUT240 cannot negotiate operational WAN connection almost once each day. I think this issue can be because of these errors.

I checked my LAN cable, checked proper connection, rebooted, etc. but still it looks like this:

3435S 2020-02-20 21:01:54 Port LAN cable is plugged in
3434S 2020-02-20 21:01:49 Port LAN cable is plugged in
3430S 2020-02-20 18:01:52 Port LAN cable is plugged in
3429S 2020-02-20 18:01:47 Port LAN cable is unplugged
3427S 2020-02-20 17:01:52 Port LAN cable is plugged in
3426S 2020-02-20 17:01:47 Port LAN cable is unplugged
3423S 2020-02-20 15:01:52 Port LAN cable is plugged in
3422S 2020-02-20 15:01:46 Port LAN cable is unplugged
3418S 2020-02-20 12:01:49 Port LAN cable is plugged in
3417S 2020-02-20 12:01:43 Port LAN cable is unplugged
3412S 2020-02-20 09:01:45 Port LAN cable is plugged in
3411S 2020-02-20 09:01:39 Port LAN cable is unplugged
3408S 2020-02-20 07:01:42 Port LAN cable is plugged in
3407S 2020-02-20 07:01:36 Port LAN cable is unplugged
3402S 2020-02-20 03:01:36 Port LAN cable is plugged in
3401S 2020-02-20 03:01:30 Port LAN cable is unplugged
3399S 2020-02-20 02:01:35 Port LAN cable is plugged in
3398S 2020-02-20 02:01:30 Port LAN cable is unplugged

This is likely a FW issue. The frequency of events is a multiple of 60 minutes...

Can confirm we're seeing this on multiple RUT950's currently on both 6.05.01 and 6.05.03 firmware.

This is causing serious issues for us as we have a couple of sites who are reliant on these devices for WAN (and SBC connectivity for their phone system) - Whilst web and email traffic can handle the drop/return, dropping the LAN port every hour (I'd estimate its an hour after last reboot and then hourly thereafter) is causing the SBC link to drop out and restart - Not good when they're in the middle of a call.

We currently use passthrough to bridge these units to either Fortinet firewalls or SonicWalls.    Can anyone confirm whether we lose RMS access if we put it in bridged mode (though we're not really expecting this to resolve the issue either)

When I used my RUT240 in bridge mode, I still could see it in teltonika remote management. However my access has already been expired. I don't remember that I had so many problems with WAN access in bridge mode, but that was with the previous FW version. i haven't tried bridge mode with the current RUT2XX_R_00.01.11.3 FW yet. I am on passthrough.

I am waiting for a new FW version where this LAN unplugged problem is solved. I have to reboot the unit each day to minimize WAN connection dropouts.
