Hello,

Since the installation of the latest firmware in my RUT955, the signal strength has gone from -107dbm to -67dbm with the same cell id and the same connection type !

Is it a miracle or should we doubt of this improvement ?

Hello,

From -107dbm to -67dbm there is a big difference. Can You try ping google (8.8.8.8)? What is ping response time?
Ping command You can execute in 2 ways

  1. From WebUI -> System -> Administration -> Diagnostics;
  2. From SSH/CLI (Links for instructions below) by typing ping 8.8.8.8.

You can also double check RSSI via CLI or SSH  to make sure that WebUI are showing You correct values

In CLI/SSH You will need type AT command gsmctl -q and You will see in result current RSSI

Also more about AT commands please check our wiki.
