Question

Hi everybody,

I just bought a new RUT240 and when I'm trying to access it with the default credentials(user:admin pass:admin01) I receive the message Invalid username/password. It blocks me on every 5 attempts and need to change the PC IP after in order to allow me to access webGUI captive portal again, but still not figure out what password should I use. Can you help me?

PS: I'm trying to access it on WiFi because I do not have an ethernet port on my laptop.

Hello,

Default password should be admin01, unless you got a router with a configuration pre uploaded or a non standard FW version.

Anyways, if you're unable to access it have you tried to reset ?

Or you will need tyo upgrade FW via bootloader menu, but for  this scenario you will need a PC with a LAN port:
