Is there a way to find out how much each device is using in terms of data traffic?

Hi,

Could you describe more what you need? What issue you want to solve?

What exactly data consumption you want to check? Whole router traffic?

My data consumption is way higher than I expect.

I have a couple of computers and different devices connected to my router. I'm guessing one (or more) of these are generating more traffic than I would want, but in order to know which one, I'd like to see data traffic through the router (via SIM) broken down on device level.

Hi,

Unfortunately router do not have such option it can monitor for all lan network (use ifconfig command), but I checked in OpenWRT and seems like there is some software for this. For example something like this one (not tested): https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/services/network_monitoring/vnstat

Has anyone tried vnstat? Did you find another solution?

I would also like to see what devices are hungry on my 4g connection.
