Hi dear. On mine RUT955 FW ver.: RUT9XX_R_00.06.04

I'm trying to use email allert on Input/Output but email won't work. SMS was ok.

I'd try sending email manually on CLI but the response was

Any Idea ?

The problem lies in the service providers, probably the protocol used by the ruoter is not considered sufficient security.
Gmail is the only one who, after disabling some security protections, accepts the service.
Problem solved using gmail as mail service

Hi,

Please try to check you email settings via router WebUI: Status -> Events Log ->  Create rule and select Action: Send Email -> Configure your used settings and press Send test email.

Then you will know if it works with your settings.

I'd try but error is persistent.

Less secure apps in mine gmail was already allowed.
