Hi, if we connect a RUT905 behind an existing Firewall/Router  - does the OPEN VPN Client ( integrated in RUT 905) work even if the connecton between RUT and other Router is with internal LAN-Ports (of the RUT)  or does the OVPN-Client only work if RUT is connected via external Ethenet/WAN Port  ?

Hi,

If RUT905 will have internet access and could reach OpenVPN server, then OpenVPN client should work.

Is it enough wenn the Internet-Connection is made through one of the 4 LAN/Intranet Ethernet-Ports  ( and not over the WAN-Port) ?

What you mean? Ethernet to RUT905 should be connected via WAN port.
