I want to create a script that turns off the SIM-Card when there is a Connection on the WAN-Interface and turns it back on when there is none.

It would be useful to know why you want to achieve such feature via script, such function is already implemented on our routers.

Hi,

Its a part of the project im working on. It was a request, that the router changes between SIM internet and internet by interface, depending on if there is a cabel inserted in a certain interface.

Hi.

Yes with that link I did paste above you can implement such feature.

Keep in mind that it not only will check if it have the cable inserted, but it also will ensure that it is getting internet. If it  is not getting internet it will switch automatically to the following interface
