Hi

I am trying to build HA setup with two SIMs using RUTX11. Both sims are nicely recognized at SIM slot 1, but none of the sims appear at slot 2. Do I need to activate them somehow or is second slot broken.  FYI device is less than two weeks old now.

Hello,

To run the SIM card in the second slot, you need to set the second slot as the default SIM.  Go to Network → WAN and you will see MOB1S1A1 and MOB1S2A1. Click edit on MOB1S2A1 and set it as default SIM. The router will now connect to the mobile network from the second slot.

Ah, that does it. Thanks.

Still disappointed that even with two SIMs "load balancing" is not what is sounds like. Even when configuration gives you option to choose between "Load balanced" and "Failover".  This is not load balancing when there actually are not two modems.
