For the alarm system, I used a 2g modem. Information is transmitted to the security server. The server polls the sim card of the protected object every 5 minutes. This is how traffic flows. The average statistic was 5-6 mb per month. Then I replaced the 2 g modem with rut 230. This is 3g I know. However, the traffic consumption amounted to 150mb per month. Why? The security object did not send additional signals. It’s just that it was polled by the server every 5 minutes. Why did the traffic become more? The manufacturer of security equipment said that the size of the information from the guarded facility does not depend on a communication channel of 2g or 3g. The mobile operator’s specialist said that the package sizes have increased from 2kbeet to 2mbeet. Why? Can rut 230 add its additional information to forwarded packets? Sorry for my English)) I'm from Belarus

Hello,

Did you add your RUT230 to RMS service?
