Hi, i have a simple network consisting of only four devices.

  1. RUT240 - static IP 192.168.5.1 fitted with sim card for access to internet
  2. NEXX 2 port router static IP 192.168.5.60 (config as two port switch with internal wifi and DHCP disabled)
  3. Android Panel - static IP 192.168.5.50
  4. Victron Venus - static IP 192.168.5.55

My issue is that when you try to connect the RUT240 via wifi, the RUT240 issues an IP address but then proceed to issues a default gateway address of 192.168.5.60 and so access to internet is not possible. If i remove the NEXX 240 from the network then connect, the RUT240 issues its own 192.168.5.1 as default gateway and all is ok.

so my question is why is the RUT240 selecting 192.168.5.60 and how can i force the RUT240 to issue its own IP of 192.168.5.1?

Hi,

Could you clarify this "My issue is that when you try to connect the RUT240 via wifi, the RUT240 issues an IP address but then proceed to issues a default gateway address of 192.168.5.60 and so access to internet is not possible"?

Could you draw a simple sketch how everything is connected, describe IP, subnet, devices and describe where issue appears.
