Hi all,

I want to use the RUT955 to control a Wallas XC DUO (desil powered heater and cooker) in my camper van.

It needs a Normally Open (NO) relay contact to start the power.

My goal is to be able to text the RUT955 to switch the heater on from my house on cold winter mornings

So its easy to turn on the relay - send a text once and text it again to turn it off ? sadly no!

In the heater logic:

if I press the heater power button for 3-5 seconds the unit turns on.

If I press and continue to hold the power button for 10 seconds + then the heater goes into an "alpine environment"
mode changing the desil to air ratio and burning ineffciently

So I want to have an option to gain greater control of the relays, either via a script or via a GUI parameter.

I could implement this in discrete hardware (e.g.a few 555 timer chips and line drivers) then trigger it via text but surely the ability to control a relays on/off time and a software defined momentary action timer  is a feature many people could use for other purposes?

Anyone have an idea how to implement this?  - or do I need to generate a feature request for a future release please ?

Regards

BB
