I am trying to access a device (IP address) connected to my RUT240.

Can I do this via the RMS service?

Do I need to port forward?

Can I use DMZ?

Hello,

With RMS access function you can only access devices behind router via HTTP or HTTPS. Usage of other protocols currently unavailable.

But if your device use HTTP(S), then mark device in RMS go to top menu bar Actions ->  Access and in new window configure device access port and internal IP address. https://wiki.teltonika.lt/view/RMS_-_Actions_menu#Access

Hi,

When I do this the following message appears in web browser

"An error has occurred when trying to browse through the proxy.

Failed to connect to device.  Possible problems are the server was not found, the connection timed out, or connection refused by the host.  Try connecting again and check if the address is correct."

Thanks Pete

Hi Pete,

Please send me a PM with your router serial number, I will check what is happening. Also, what device you are trying to reach?
