Hello,

By default, if mobile data connection has been lost, router tries to reestablish it immediately. Depending on what you have configured on your router, it would be great if you could try to reset it to default settings and then configure only mobile settings (e.g. APN). With default router's configuration (apart from essential mobile settings) your router should reestablish mobile data connection once it is lost.

If this is not the case, feel free to create a new crowd support forum question with detailed information what router's configuration you have and what issue you are experiencing (i.e. screenshots from router's WebUI which allows you to determine that something is wrong). Also download a troubleshoot package from "System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot" menu so that you would be able to send it to us via private message.

Meanwhile, (or if you cannot reset your router to factory default setting settings) you can use "Ping reboot" functionality on the router, which would automatically reboot your router once mobile data connection is lost, so that you would not need to manually do anything. Ping reboot functionality can be configured from "Services -> Auto reboot -> Ping reboot" menu.

Hello,

 - To begin with, from router's "Status -> Network -> Mobile" menu you can see detailed information about mobile connection. Including mobile data connection status and which 3G/4G band is being used to connect to mobile tower.

 - RUT950 does not have integrated speed test functionality. Nonetheless, you can easily test its speeds from any connected device (smartphone, laptop, computer, etc) by visiting any speed test web page. Example: https://www.speedtest.net/

 - By default router only uses SIM1 SIM slot and does not switch to SIM2. Your desired SIM Switch scenario could be configured from "Network -> Mobile -> SIM Management" menu by enabling automatic switching and selecting wanted SIM switch condition.

 - RUT950 also have a "Load balancing" functionality. You can enable the functionality from "Network -> WAN" menu:

Also, select between which interfaces traffic should be balanced. Once it is done, from "Network -> Load balancing" menu you can create custom rules/policies to balance traffic according to your needs.
