Hello,

By a wrong manipulation I destroyed the environment variables: env is empty, /etc/profile is empty.

How to rebuild the list and not lost other things ?

Thank you

Hello,

In such case, reinstall router's firmware.

If "System -> Firmware" WebUI menu is not reachable any more, you can do this through bootloader menu:

  • Power on the device while holding reset button. Flashing all 4 Ethernet LEDs indicates that bootloader’s web server has started.
  • Access router via web browser http://192.168.1.1/index.html
  • Upload new router's firmware "RUT9XX_R_00.06.xx_WEBUI.bin".
  • Wait few minutes. Router's LEDs should stop flashing. Only LED with LAN cable connected to that port should be active.

Are you sure I will not lost configurations (such as my openVPN) ?

Upgrading firmware without "keep all settings" or doing so through bootloader menu will erase all router's settings.

Depending on what you were doing with your router and what files you have deleted from it might require fresh firmware install to recover the lost files.

Done.

Env is correct but /etc/profile is still empty.

Could you give me the content of this file please ?
