Hello,

I installed the latest version on my RUT955 (version 6.05.1).

After a few minutes the message 'upgrading 100% done - login' is displayed

I waited 60 minutes because the login page was not displayed.

I pressed F5 to refresh but nothing happens.

I decided to make a reset by pressing the button: The lan leds flashed one times. Nothing happens.

Whatever the warning message (dont power off. ..) I powered off the device.

I powered on, nothing happens.

I pressed again the reset button. Now the lan led are flashing one after the other.

What can i do now ?

I tried it: connection ethernet, change ip of my pc, 192.168.1.x, reset and power on

The four wan leds are quickly flashing.

I type 192.168.1.1/uboot.html

A firmware file is requested. I selected the latest and start the upgrade.

Now i have a message in red color: wrong file or. .. try again

I tried with the previous version:same effect

I tried again with /index.html, select latest fw

Now the flashing seems correct !!!!!!!!!!!

What is the ip of the router now ? 1.1 or 2.1 as i set ?

In other words, have i lost the full config ?

Yes, upgrading via bootloader deletes all configs.

Morality: make backups and restore points !

And don't upgrade a remote machine if you are not present.
