One first boot you are forced to change the default password in the GUI. Are there options to do this via SMS? This as we see SMS messages on a default setup are received but not processed due to this required password change.

What we try to achieve is a remote setup for our clients which could just press the reset button in case issues arise.

Hello,

Currently there is no way to change router's admin password via SMS messages.

Nonetheless, this is not needed, since router reacts/responds whenever correct password is using in SMS message, including default "admin01" one. What SMS message are you sending to the router? What you are referring to with "we see SMS messages on a default setup are received but not processed"?

We are sending the command uci set auto_update.auto_update.server_url followed by the config_update command and would expect that this would be shown in the GUI when logging in.

If we do this with the default password it doesn't. When we first change the password and then send the same instructions it seems to work.

SMS is recieved though:

Default router's password is "admin01", not "Admin01". This seems to be the reason why router refuses to execute SMS command.
