Simple powering on a sailboat - Is it OK to skip the Input/Output/NC wires?

(Sorry that this is not for professional application) I plan to install a RUT240 inside the QuSpot antenna and power it from my 12V battery. I don't need the Input/Output feature. Is it OK to simply connect red to plus and black to minus?

Hello,

Yes. The Input and the Output are not related to powering the device, they have a different purpose.
