Question

I powered my brand new RUT240, connected to it over WiFi. I get the login page (it looks very web1.0, no CSS is loaded?) and fill in the default login (admin01) and after pressing login, I only get a white screen and the page is no longer loading.

any idea on how to fix this? I already tried powering off and back on again.

Could you please insert screenshot of what login page looks like?

Which browser are you using? Did you try other ones?

Could you try accessing routers WebUI in your browsers private/incognito window and see if results are different?

See below for a screenshot. I am using chrome, but also tried firefox and edge which have the same result.

After pressing login, I get redirected to the following url which stays blank:  http://192.168.1.1/cgi-bin/luci/admin/system/password

Then I would suggest resetting your router to factory defaults by holding reset button for 5 seconds or until all 5 signal LEDs turn on and then releasing it.

Resetting did not work. I flashed the latest firmware and now it is working.
