Hi Teltonika community,

can someone point me towards a way to read RS485 via LTE?

I have a private subnet over an LTE network, say range 10.100.1.1/21 and I need to read the instruments in the field, with the master at 10.100.7.254. I use RS485 because there are multiple devices at one site and I let the master read each device ID.

The RS485 settings appear to want to read from a LAN port. Should I bridge the LTE (Mobile) to the LAN and then read via RS485

Hello, did you try RS485 Over IP mode?

RUT connects to the server and sends / receives RS485 data to/from specified server. Maybe that is what you are looking for?
