I have a rut240. i inserted a simcard on it. I can reach to the internet via the simcard.

There is a windows pc behind the rut240. Its rdp port is open to be connected from remote.

I configured port forwarding on the rut240. But i can't connect to the PC via simcard. If i add to wired wan on the rut240. I can reach to the pc. What can be the problem?

Regards

Hello.
I tested port forwarding with the latest FW on RUT 240 and it worked.
Make sure that:
1) The router has a public address and is accessible remotely via the Internet.
For check, try to enter WebUI via the public ip address.
Before that, go to the tab System->Administration->Access control and enable remote HTTP access.
2) Port forwarding rule configured correctly, you need to enter external port, internal IP and internal port of the device you are trying to reach.

Best regards.

Hello

I checked the config according to the above info. it seems correct.

But I can't get an access neither Rut device's web management nor the machine's rdp which is located behind the Rut device via Simcard.  But I can access to both over the Wired wan interface.

What can be the problem ?

Your SIM card has a PRIVATE IP address (10.13.152.14).

For remote access, you need PUBLIC IP.

More information: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Private_and_Public_IP_Addresses

SIM card with PUBLIC IP address can be purchased from your mobile operator.
