I am unable to scan for 5ghz networks. 2.4Ghz works fine. Yes there are networks in range.

How long you try wait scan finishing?

I have left it for 20 mins before. Nothing.

I just setup a 5Ghz network on my phone next to the router. Still not showing.

Try scan wifi network with phone app like "wifi scaner" for checking.

Wifi hotspot. I deleted the 5ghz network on the RUTX11 and re-scanned. It is now seeing them.

It seems to be if you are using the 5ghz network you cannot scan and connect as a client at the same time.

I found exactly the same problem, but I want to use the 5G as an access point as well as client to

establish a route to the internet through another 5G SSID at the site. SAME PROBLEM!
