Hey, Myky again here,

Another question. IPSec keepalive, what is the source IP address of the packets?:

My RUT240 local subnet is 192.168.14.0/24 >> remote VPN subnet is 192.168.1.0/24

When l am trying to ping my remote subnet from RUT, it fails, however, if l initiate ping from 192.168.14.1 (router IP address) ping succeeds:

How keepalive is performed by RUT and what is the source IP address of the keepalive packet?

DUMP! I was missing a static route pointing to the LAN IP of the router:

Ping worked straight away. I assume RU240 creates VTI and supports route based VPN. Am I right?

I missed a static route option. l thought RUT uses policy-based VPN and does not require a static router. Thanks!
