Hi,

Unit works fine and is responsive until OpenVPN client service is configurated with certificates.

When openVPN client is enabled and rebooted the unit becomes non-responsive (or so slow so that login is not possible)

The unit does not answer ping requests at this point. Nor its possible to reach anything but the login prompt. It is not possible to enter login info - it will time out.

I have reinstalled firmware several time to verify ping responses and ram / cpu usage.

RAM/CPU before enabling OpenVPN client:

WLAN, SSH, Cellular, NTP force server enabled

I'm out of cues now.

Hardware: RUT240 06E000 Batch 040

Firmware: RUT2xx_R_00.01_WEBUI.bin

Bootloader: U-boot_mod_tlt_rut200_3.1.0_webui.bin

openVPN config:

Hello,

I tried to replicate the issue you are having and everything seems to work fine. Could tell me more about your configuration? Because to me it seems that you are missing some settings, for example remote network IP/Mask.

The RUT240 is connecting to an OpenVPN server. I can see from the server log that it connects.

I also recieve a DHCP adress when connecting LAN or by WiFi.

However, it does not respond to a ping request, nor it responds to a login (default gw 192.168.1.1).

The login page is shown sporadically, and if shown, it will time out after entering password.

The only way to regain operational router is to flash the fw..

Can you send me a troubleshoot file via private message? You can find it in SYSTEM > ADMINISTRATION > TROUBLESHOOT section. Configure the router the same way, but don't enable the VPN instance.
